Everyone take a step back from the chaos and look at the team. Who can change a game? Who can we bring on as a sub? The players are not good enough. I would say temps can change a game and attack. That's all really everyone else is just workers even at that aren't great. I think Wallace is good going forward I would move him to left mid. We need to look at getting rid of players as in Kyle (which we just done) sandazza can he cut it 1 goal in 3rd division. I would get rid of most be left with Wallace, Alexander, mc culloch, black, temps, little, McKay, and a few others at a push. Look at our scouts? Our signings this time around need to be a lot better. Start at the back get a few experienced defenders someone like a davie weir. Midfielders who can attack and score. Strikers there should be guys who can score 25-30 goals each in 2nd division easy. Then look at the management team are they good or they just pals? I think the likes of terry butcher would do a great job. But ally has had 25 players walk out and you know the bans and all the other chaos but I think win the sfl 3 then he needs to address a lot of the things I just said and be judged by Xmas time.

Scouting is unlikely ti improve with Neil Murray in charge.

2.) 17 Mar 2013
I totally agree with the sender, Rangers are just not a good team except for possibly six we need to bring in a far better calibre, we need a good spine and a creator, although I think Temps will be a star in a better division, I'm sure someone will call me crazy.

3.) 17 Mar 2013
Why keep black? He's the biggest waste of space at ibrox.

4.) 17 Mar 2013
Speaking of strikers is it not bout time hemmings gets a chance? he scored goals in the 1st division so surely deserves a start?

5.) 17 Mar 2013
I agree with you mate but I'd ask you, where is the money coming from to improve the squad?,
We're looking at a possible loss of £12-14m this year. I don't see how income in the next 2-3 years is going to put us in profit, no matter what Charles Green says. If we continue like this we'll be circa £25-30m in debt by the time we eventually arrive in the top div. Funnily enough, his is the amount estimated by Dave King and Bill Miller when the club was up for sale. like I say, I agree with your points. I just want to know where the money to improve the squad is coming from.
The figures don't add up. I wish they did but they don't. I'll be delighted if someone can post me figs that do add up. I don't mean things like "we've a Puma deal! (nothing up front, sales commission only), Dry Blackthorn for an undisclosed sum.
Unless we cut costs, we'll be running at a loss for the forseeable future. If you think different. please convince me but back your points with facts & figs. WATP and Charles Green said so are not valid arguments.

Not an answer as such, but rather a question, which may put you at ease. If you can find one business who reported a profit in their first year of business, you will have done a lot of research. First year operations always show a loss, for many reasons, start up expenditure, new marketing & promotion costs, solicitors contractual costs, establishment of premises, extra administration i. e staff contracts renaming & production, Listing on exchange & administration costs associated with same just to name a few. I do not wish to publish the TAX situation also with new business as it would only illicit stupid responses. Take it from someone who knows the workings of businesses and corporations. Rangers first set of results were surprisingly good and it shows excellent opportunity for financial growth in the future.

Finally somebody who knows how a buisness works! They report rangers made a loss in there first year as you would expect, and people are projecting we'll be £30million in debt by the time we're in the SPL. Honestly the amount a crap that comes out peoples mouth is ridiculous, I wonder if other teams fans make up as much garbage as this

8.) 18 Mar 2013
Ozzie Al,
I agree with you wrt start up costs etc. Were these not put at £4m or so. I still see a loss of circa £3m with more to come in the second half, as we will have no real income source (I'm talking income of millions, not a few hundred grand here or there). All things being equal and I know things can change a 25% rise in income next season only brings in around £3m extra, making £15m when costs, minus start up expenses will still be around £25m. that's another £10m loss by the end of next season.

9.) 18 Mar 2013
Wouldnt keep black or alexander

10.) 18 Mar 2013
I'd get rid of Black to anyone who'll take him.

11.) 18 Mar 2013
Hopefully get bocanegra at the back with a younger centre back who can pass a ball next season, to often our centre backs just punt the ball up the park to our one man strike force

12.) 18 Mar 2013
Bocanegra was reportedly on £15-18,000 a week. Without doubt a good player and someone who would solve our defensive problems but if you think the way forward is to pay these sort of wages in the 2nd division of scottish football to play against plumbers, posties etc then the club will soon be in another finicial mess

13.) 18 Mar 2013
He deserves a decent go at Ibrox judge him next season but it would be unfair to blame him for the performances of uncommitted players. If the whole club saw sense and invested in youth

14.) 18 Mar 2013
Ozzie Al,

Rangers is not some business new start, it was effectively taken over without the debts, and its fixed running costs well established. The point is well made, unless this company further downsizes then it will continue to lose money, if this is impossible then season tickets will be raised to make up the projected loss. The critical period for Rangers is after div 3 is won until the new season ticket money comes in.

The general point is Rangers cannot afford to increase expenditure on players and to be frank shouldn't have to, not to win div 2.

15.) 18 Mar 2013
Ozzie Al; What a load of nonsense. Start up expenditure? What would that be? Establishment of premises? Are you serious? Does Ibrox and Murray park ring a bell? Renaming! You claim to know the workings of the business world. You will know that there are some pretty hefty bills heading to Ibrox shortly then. How could you publish the tax situation, you know all the figures then? Bottom line is rangers need to cut expenditure or increase income, it's that simple

Rangers loses were so high because of the following, 1) No summer revenue from Pre Season games. 2) No summer revenue from shirt sales (as know one know if we would have a club at the end of it. 3) Charles Green having to pay wages over summer whilst we had no income - including the walkaway players for a wee while, and people like Edu and Boconegra, and Goain (them 3 alone - that was about 40-45k a week!). 4) having to pay around £2. 5 to clubs that Rangers owed money to before CG came in. 5) Start up costs, lawayers, accountants, advisors e. g. Take all that into account and is anyone surprised we lost 7m in first half of season - I am not. Does that mean we are on course to lose £30m in next 2 years - no! Will we make a lose next season, possible, but I would think if so it will be no more than £2-3m in the whole year. I believe in 2 years the club will turn over a profit per season as long as we the fans keep backing the club. Let's sell 45,000 season tickets next year - we can do it! WATP.

17.) 19 Mar 2013
I think the general point is it is going to take more than a few years to buy a squad capable of competing with Celtic, who break even if they do not qualify for Euro latter stages.

Its a long haul back that is for sure.

18.) 19 Mar 2013
Won't get anywhere near 45,000 if ally is still in charge
