I can settle 4 stories here and now.

Andy Webster was in Murray Park for about 10 mins yesterday, clearly not there for talks etc. Maybe just to see club doc or what ever

Craig Gordon was in Murray Park to try and regain fitness and do some training. don't think for 1 minute he will sign or anything.

Ricky Foster is currently undergoing a medical with Rangers but its been split across 2 days, for what reason I don't know. But after 50 games for Bristol City in 2 season you've got to imagine he's pretty fit.

Last one - Rangers have shown no interest in signing Mark Hateleys son Tom. This is straight from Mark at a local football dinner on Friday night. He says he can't believe Rangers signed Arnold Parelta when the had the chance of Tom.

What Football Dinner would that be?!

Mark's loyalty to his son is commendable, but in all honesty, he's ot that good.

Tom hately is a good player but how do know that peralta isn't a better player

The dinner was a local team in the league I play in called Hawick Waverley AFC. look up their website for details of the dinner. He said Tom is a massive Gers fan and although he had offers from England and Europe (probably the poorer leagues) he wanted to wait on a call from Rangers. Wouldn't waste my time posting nonsense

Anyone else wonder why all these old players are coming back to play in the rangers team now when only a few years ago these same players asked for big wages to play for the same team but they are play for buttons in comparison ie wanted about £18,000 a week but now I hope some are not being paid more than £4000 a week, Greg Wilde wanted £20,000 a week at rangers but now I don't see Aberdeen paying him anymore than £3000 a week? Funny how it is always rangers and the other mob that all these players "demand" big wages from but when it comes to playing against better teams they don't want to play just look at what we came up against in 3rd division last season and dare say it will be the same again in the new season but some of these players we play against will be paid about £200 a week. Also the novo debate I would take him back if he was willing to play for £500 a week for us but don't think that will happen.

To op

I don't think peralta will be used for rb, he'll play in what Ally said his best position is and that's more def mid

Original poster here -

Glad to see I was right about Ricky Foster.

Also on the Parelta as an RB comment, Mark Hateley was saying he believes Tom to be a CM naturally but because of the Motherwell players in there and Toms versatility he put to RB most of the time.
