Was told last night that the Ashley deal will not cost the man a penny, the money will come out of Rangers retail pot the money we have put in with buying strips, and other merchandise. This is money that will come to the club as per contract but Ashley letting use it now and looking a hero. I said on here on many occasions that the club is not viable in it present form we need £16m to made to the end of the season so next year we will need £32m in loans to survive, its just not going to work. All we want is investment in the club BUT we are overspending in ever department, we have to go back to the drawing board. 95% of the clubs in Scotland live within their means WHY can't we. I know its not happened this season but players and staff in hotels the afternoon/evening before a game is just a waste of money to try and make us look like the big club we used to be, the same as cancelling games because dean sheilds is in the Northern Ireland squad, this is ally saying look at this big club, we need to grow up grow a pair and face facts

Cheers tommy it's from the heart but using the head too. We can't survive this way looking for loans and investments every month or so remember it's just over 40 days since we got over £3m from a share issue plus £2m from Ashley (well maybe not read my post above) that's over £5m in 40 days and it will be gone soon- Aberdeen won't spend half that much in a season. I would go for admin 2 and hope we can rid our self off some players/staff/ Do we still have a bus driver on over a grand a week ??????? think about it guy these good Rangers men I right

This loan is for 6 months apparently ?

So in 6 months, how do they pay back the £2m ?

The loan is secured on assets, one being what could be described as a fantastic area for development.

So in 6 months, when Rangers can't pay back the £2m, Mike Ashley then gets the car park land and another building that is also in the agreement ?

So he's got land worth more than the £2m he "paid" for it.

Then what ?

Seeing as the Easedales have been supporters of his, do they get anything out of it ? You know, preferential sale rate for part of the land or the building for one of their many business' ?
