Hi fellow bears, it's reported on BBC Scottish transfer gossip that Dundee Utd are looking to buy Scott Allan. Do you think this might get The Gers interested to also put a bid in? I hope so as I'd like to see this lad in the same team as Danny Wilson as I think they will be future international stars for Scotland. Look how well Scott played against us last year he was such a good driving forward force for Hibs last year.

I hope so mate. he's a big rangers supporter plus he's best pals with andy halliday so he'd jump at the chance but we need to put a bid in first

I'll eat my shoes if he signs for dundee utd. Can't see hibs accepting anything less than 750k and I can't see dundee utd making that sort of cash available to Jackie mcnamara. Utd had a 250k bid turned down in january fro hin and didn't come back in with another offer. Paper talk in my opinion.
I'd still love to see the lad in a rangers jersey though. Him and holt in the middle with eustsce or a similar player sitting in behind.

I think we'll take a risk and sign him in Jan on a pre contract or a cut price in the Jan window. 750-1m would beadness for a player with 1 year left

Have to agree, can't see us spending what would be required for hibs to sell.

Whatever price hibs would take from Dundee Celtic feeder club you can double before hibs would sell to us.

I think it would take north of 1mill before hibs would consider it. Doubt we would pay even half of that even though it would weaken our closest rival.

no way dundee utd will pay anything like the money that hibs would want they are just appeasing their fans for being celtic nursery team still think we should buy him upset their team and improve ours
