Rotherham United have tabled a £400,000 bid for Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan in an attempt to trump Rangers, who have made a third attempt to sign the 23-year-old after the Edinburgh rejected two offers saying they would not sell to their Scottish Championship rivals.

Just seen that too. Looks like he will be off to Rotherham in the English Championship then.
Can't see him turning that down.
Maybe if we went in with a bid of £450,000 to begin with we might have had a chance. No chance of getting him now.
Think its becoming obvious we haven't got the money to pay up front.
Shame. Thought he would have been great for us.

He is not going anywhere except Rangers sir. The lad is determined to be at Ibrox. His will play him no mater the outcome but he will sign a pre contract in January.

It will be interesting to see if Hibs except the £400,000 from Rotherham and Rangers topped it

Hibs and Rotherham still in talks about a fee.
If they agree a fee then he will move to Rotherham. He wants away from Hibs and is not prepared to wait for Rangers if a suitable offer comes in.
He is off down south I'm afraid folks.

Most folk have been saying 400k is a fair price, we have obviously been building up to something like it. But once Hibs accept another bid we should match it to the penny ànd no more. take it or leave it, see you in January. And hope Allan is prepared to wait it out.
