He is at ibrox for talks in signing for us looks a really good player

He is certainly a talent with a great future, but I think we should be giving game time to one of our own youngsters rather than yet another loan that has no future benefit for us.

I agree gosman I would rather be giving our young guns a chance

Is it just me? or is anyone else getting concerned about the amount of players we are taking on loan? these loanees will move on at the end of the season and we will be left with?? nothing except a very costly bill for playing them. The teams who have their contracts must be laughing themselves all the way to the bank, we give them experience, sell on value or bring them up to a standard to play first team football for their clubs and we get the bloody headache of trying to replace them?? this does not in anyway make sense,,, have we not learned anything from the Mcoist way of bringing in players that will in the end be no sell on value or use to the club. bloody hell we are becoming a feeder club rather than making home grown talent this is a travesty.

our youngsters shoud have been giving game time from the start but ally wanted old duds to play a we sold our best young player and the ones we have just now are not up to speed just now

I have been thinking about all the wages too and worrying a little. But as for the loans I would imagine that the parent club will be paying some of the wages.

Warburton has repeatedly said that he will bring in any player who add quality to the playing squad on and OFF the pitch. These loan signings might also help develop your youth which is something you guys seem to forget. The higher the quality players at Auchenhowie the more chance we have of creating our own. No Auchenhowie youth should be given a chance unless they know there is high competition for there spot (meaning they will have to work hard to enter the squad) and that they're is always someone else just as eager to take there spot. MW has done a fantastic job with who he has signed so far in comparison to our previous windows, look at the potential sell on values of these players. Let him use his loan market contacts to find talent and who knows we might win a few more trophies this year. In Warburton I trust.

Have you ever given thought that if these loanees turn out good we might sign them later

Oh dear, just looked at a clip of him flicking the ball over someone's head and running on to it. He will never do in Neanderthal league. The hacks are gonnae love him.

I think that's an over reaction, if these 2 come in that's only 4 in total. Builds a good working relationship with top premiership teams and who know what can happen, maybe the gaffer of their clubs doesn't either want or fancy them and then you never know if they might stay, the lure of a massively supported team with European ambitions might make them think twice

Smh. What if these loan players play pivotal roles in securing the league and take us on a few decent cup runs. Would more or less pay for themselves. Can't believe how short sighted some people are. If they do very well for us we benefit, they benefit and the parent club benefits. Having guys like oduwa training with some of our youngsters, or Templeton even, might encourage them to up their game and push themselves to higher standards than they normally might if guys of that quality weren't there to train beside in first place. Then there is the possibility of signing these guys if the parent clubs don't renew their contracts in the future, given they will get game time here and it's incredibly difficult for youngsters to break into the first team of any of the top five or six clubs in England. If they've been here, sampled playing in front of sell outs and hopefully in a year or two European football again they'd be more inclined to return than drop down the divisions in England. Plus, loan deals are commonplace everywhere now, even within the top English clubs, so I don't see it as anything other than a positive. Oh, and we are a feeder club btw ally, all Scottish clubs are, it's how we survive financially moving forward as a whole. We need to be realistic and accept that.

Not necessarily we might get to by one or two No matter what lots of those younger ones will find it hard breaking into those teams

Only one in ten break into the bigger teams

Think it's good that loans are at the club, both parties are happy and creates competition for the players already at the club!

Our young players will just have to prove they're good enough

Ally your a wee lost soul if you think rangrrs are not a feeder club every team in Scotland is and that includes "them" chelsea signed Falcao on loan every team does this if they improve the squad helping us to win the league and in the year they are here our youth players think I wanna be as good as that and work harder then I'd that not a huge benefit plus potentially a future signing if they are released also parent clubs will pay towards their wages I could go on and on with positives but sadly even under a new exciting era some people in Scotland cling to the wee negative branch that supports them I only hope your wee branch is weak and we get rid of the negative nonsense you spout

15.) 18 Aug 2015
18 Aug 2015 18:08:22
we had 4 loan players last year and only one was fit to play so who was paying the wages to them so how is this any worse than that

16.) 18 Aug 2015
18 Aug 2015 18:25:04
I love the loan signings. Not a lot of big name players out there will want to come to us now, but more will next year, so loans right now to get us up there will be good. They will defo not break the bank like people suggest as it is part paid by parent club. Good times, well done Warburton

17.) 18 Aug 2015
18 Aug 2015 19:24:23
We will be paying a fraction of their wages and I doubt there is a fee to take them on loan. Honestly the negativity is out of control.

I read someone above comparing this to Ally's signing policy from last year, asking if we hadn't learned lessons. Must be on the wind up.

I totally back MW in the market. Every signing he has made so far has improved us dramatically.

And I trust the board to be prudent with the budget also. On one hand people say we should spend millions on players and on the other people are worried about loan signing wages lmao.

Have some faith, get off their back please.

These loans were bringing in are all high quality players we'd not get anything close to that atm in our own youth squad

to all replies regarding loanies, its the market we are in at moment so far so good, mcoiste had time to do this never had the vision to do so,imagine by now we could have had youngsters blooded in 1st team squad.were on right track with warbuton and weir, playing good football, wish we had warbuton and weir 2 years ago be in better shape football wise

Jock star and a few others well in , I don't care if we win promotion using loan players, and I wouldn't care if we won the top league using loan signings,in fact would our supporters still be moaning if we won the big euro one using loan signings,no I don't think so,it's the way all clubs are run these days, get over it.
