Various reports suggesting we're in talks with Accrington over Crooks and Windass.

Chairman on twitter looks p****d off at the approach, even though it looks likely our efforts are for the end of the season and not now.

These 2 look like cracking players, hopefully we can get something done for these players, hopefully the magic hat can pull something out of the bag. WATP.

Would be great signings. Right age and hopefully right price. (I. e) For nothing. Can't see them getting bigger club for now.

From what I am reading no talks have taken place with the club, solely with the players. This would suggest that we are looking to sign pre contract agreements although, of course, if we secure their signatures then there is a logic to Acrington Stanley agreeing a deal with us now to secure the best possible transfer fee even though we will need to pay a development fee to Stanley.

These are the 2 I'd like to see going through the most! hopefully we don't need to wait till next season to see them play tho, would be good to have them onboard and buying into the tactics and philosophy right away in time for next season.
