I herd that Fulham have offered £1m for wallace. I hope this is not true and hope we don't sell him for that price.

May be wrong, but aren't Fulham subject to a transfer embargo?

I don't think he would leave anyway far too important.

No way anyone would give us 1m for Wallace. 250-500k absolute tops.

Isn't it Cardiff under an embargo?

Yeah they have a transfer embargo upon them til June. Wallace is to great an asset for us to lose just now, wouldn't want to see this happening.

On the 24th December Fulham announced they have a transfer embargo in the January window.

No chance Wallace going anywhere, the most loyal player we have had in years, could have left well before now for more money, international caps, but chose to stay with us in the third tier of scottish football we all will appreciate that when the Capitano gets a very deserved testimonial . You deserve it Lee.

Wallace won't go but it really wouldn't surprise me if King would support us accepting the bid.

When Leeds United beat us to a top target as we have seen today it raises questions about King and his promise to invest in team building and support Mr Warburton.

It appears that he is more mouth than action!

King needs to explain himself but as he hasn't I will.

His plans to fund rebuilding were based upon a further share issue which he in part would have underwritten. That plan cannot proceed with the criminal case, which including future appeals will drag on for a considerable amount of time.

He may be worth a great deal in terms of assets but that doesn't mean he has vast amounts of cash swimming about in his bank account ready to be invested in the club. The vast majority of wealthy people are asset rich and cash poor.

The club is in a very poor financial state and without outside investment we can't meet our existing liabilities never mind find money for transfer fees and wages. The crooks and windass deals are likely being funded by players such as templelton, law, bell etc being moved off the wage bill before new players arrive.

The cycle of interest fee loans is simply delaying dealing with the problem. The only way the club can be put on a sustainable footing is through European football or making further cut backs. Think we all can agree we won't reach European football without investment.

The board needs to explain this to fans who are rightly expecting major investment. Personally I think all the promises of investmentb were to try and get fans back inside to maximize season ticket sales. Maybe I'm being too cynical. Maybe.

Luigi, I don't doubt what you say but King has really made a rod for his own back with all the mouthing off about a personal investment of £30m that would be front end loaded.

He is now in a difficult position because if he now comes out and tells it as it is e will, quite rightly, be castigated, for bullshitting to the supporters just as we saw from Murray in the past.

If he has the funds available then he would be better to make an interest free loan by way of convertible loan stock pending a future share issue which could take years given the shenanigans of past Regimes, (and I include the Tarnished Knight in this!

Is it not the board who have spent millions on keeping us going, bringing in MW and Dw, new chief scout, commercial people, nutritionists etc etc,
You have to crawl before you walk, we are getting there, just have to be patient .

Brian-p, the prime investors from what I have seen are the Park family, Gilligan, Bennett and the two Far Eastern guys. I haven't heard anything about Paul Murray investing, (nor did I expect it) , and the £30m, front end loaded from King, as necessary, is where the issue lies.

If he didn't have the funds or couldn't secure funds against assets quickly then he should have kept his mouth shut.

I just see him as another that promises but doesn't deliver but he gets the benefit of being a Rangers supporter or he would be castigated by the fans. Still who knows perhaps he will surprise me by securing the much needed quality players for Warburton in the next seven days.

Unfortunately I don't see any Club Chairman of a team where we want to buy a player being too keen on giving us credit terms these days.
