He was coming onto a game at Ibrox. What was the reason the lad was allowed to go as he seems to have lost interest in football.

He forced the move to Dundee United through on freedom of contract. We were compensated 200k for developing him which at the time Dundee United went mental about.

Seems like a good deal for us now right enough. Always good to get one over on Thompson.

Bit of a tangent here but remember the look on rod petries face when Hamilton sent Hibs down. I'm looking forward to seeing the same look on Thompson's face. I can't wait. "Sporting integrity" would be the real winner as currently we have Celtic and their feeder team in the same league.

I agree. It would make my year to see them drop out of the top flight. Couldn't happen to a nicer man. not!

I just think it would be so fitting if Dundee Utd get relegated and we get promoted and pass by them on their way down, now that's what I call karma, remember Utd went after us more than other spl clubs did.

No doubt Mr Thompson would be all for league reconstruction come the inevitable day Dumbdee utd wave goodbye to premiership status, and I daresay they will have plenty of support from the east enders. Looking forward to watching them struggle on the park and financially in the championship.
