Web page Empire of the KOP, they have written that its has been confirmed that Rangers is Jordan Rossiter next destination and Liverpool will receive meagre 250K, this has been backed up by the ever reliable Liverpool Echo.

This with reports in Dailyy Mail, Daily Record and the Scotsman, seems to me that this may well be all done bar the shouting, hopefully press conf with him in a bears top is forthcoming!

It all looking good if this is the first signing of the year. Bye Nicky Law, Nicky Clark and David Templeton, Zaleem, Ball, Bell.

Think Shields will get new contract, but it with all the wage that these guys will free up, Jordan Rossieter looks a stick on!

Cant see Shiels getting new contract mate.

No way Shields will get a contract, he's on funny money and has only started 1 game all season. I don't think any of the old guard will get one.
Would love Ball back either for another year or permanent. Spurs should just sell us him with a buy back clause, because let's face it he isn't getting in that team anytime soon.
Strange as it may sound I'd actually take Zalaleem back as well, he looked god when he came on against Celtic and would benefit from the extra time on the ball in the top league. I know he's had his critics (me especially) but I think because he came from Arsenal we forget he is only 18. Showed great maturity to slot that penalty away as well and has never hid once after losing possession.

I agree with what you're saying re GZ bob. I thought that when he played there was a bit more cohesion within the team. Lightweight, yes. Undoubted ability, yes. Needs more time to mature then I reckon will be a VERY good player. As for Ball, would love to see him join us on a permanent deal.

I can't see him keeping Dean Shiels. He's a bit part player now, so there would be no chance of him getting near the first team with Halliday Holt, Crooks, Windass and possibly (looking highly likely as you say) Rossiter. I personally would let him go and have young Burt on the peripherals instead.

Disagree? Hope this happens as it will be a huge statement from MW and King. Liverpool fans are amazed that Rossiter is allowed to leave. One guy I work with who is a huge Liverpool fan and hails from liverpool, he also travels down regularly to games and he tells me that we have a player. Yes we only had to pay 250k instead of 8mil that the prem clubs would have paid which is spare change to them, the fact we convinced the boy that ibrox is the place to be instead of man city, spurs etc speaks volumes for mw king mcparland etc. Loving life again as a ger.

Funnily enough I think Shiels will be offered a reduced contract with possibly Law also staying on lesser terms. Ball may alsi come back on loan. Just what I've heard.

I would think Law will leave and possibly Shiels.

I think law is onto plumbs and shiels along with him I hope and think ball will be back with us I think GZ is high in potential would be a good squad player for us I feel for templeton though alswys liked him when just very injury prone but did well when he actually played!

Shiels loses concentration too easily and is simply not good enough. Law is not a 90 minute player. Both should leave to free up wages for players that can genuinely contribute.

Ball is a quality young player and it would be perfect if he was back for another season. That will depend on Spurs and whether they want to elevate him to the first team squad.

Zetalem has a real chance of being part of things at Arsenal next season but if he is to go out on loan I would hope that we would be the preferred Club for his services.

part of the problem is no one is knocking down our door to
offer any our players out of contract an offer
shef utd may take law but where the rest will end up
who knows but you would think if we are not to offer new
contracts the players would be released.

If we don't offer new contracts then they are automatically released as they are out of contract.

Can't see law or sheils staying. Rossiter seems a cert now and with crooks and windass also coming both will be further down the pecking order.

Clark Sheils Temps and Bell will all be in the SPFL nxt season with other teams looks like Law going down south.

I agree with The Seeker in that Shiels will be offered a reduced contract, which, if I was him, I would take.

The Hat loves him, more for his professionalism and his ability to motivate the younger lads in the squad, so maybe thinking along the same lines as Miller this season, i. e. Senior Proffesional, not necessarily playing too often but having a great deal of input into the squad in broader terms.

{Ed039's Note - Miller played plenty this season, and contributed plenty as well)

Ed, I meant that Shiels won't play much, I know Miller contributed plenty was just highlighting the senior aspect of Miller's contribution aside from playing.
