I've saw this on a few forums and although I agree European football would be a big draw for many players we would not be seeded and have to make it through the qualifiers which is not guaranteed so wouldn't think a decision would depend on this.

players also look at how the team is doing just now and what players are being brought in to improve the squad. if he looks at the old firm and what warbs is doing this transfer window he might just want to be part of something.
