Don't know how true this is but I've just heard that one of the strikers we're trying to sign and are currently in dialogue with is ex hibs, burnley, wolves and sunderland striker steven fletcher, I doubt this myself to be honest but its coming from a hibs supporter I know who knows fletcher's uncle who is a bluenose himself.

I hope that is true, he is a very good player. You don't get sold for the millions of pounds that lad has been sold for without that being the case. If he goes to Celtic he will still be a good player. I tell you the place will be buzzing if we get him. My fingers are crossed.

I agree Dunbar he can finish the ball and would find scoring easier in Scotland easier than England or France, his wages are too big for what he offers, he'd be a decent signing, Barton is bigger signing than him i'd say.

I would 100 percent take Fletcher here. Better technically than Miller and Waghorn and would score a lot more goals playing in a team that has 60 percent plus possession a game than with Scotland or Sunderland.
