Would be very happy if this happens. A lot of people were saying that we needed to spend £20m to win the league, I think we will be up there with this squad we are assembling. Getting players like Barton and Kranjcar in are perfect examples of good sensible business, as were the Accrington boys and Rossiter. Just shows you with a good scout can do.

Think of next year if we win the league and have a bit more to spend again, Mcparland could make us fortunes on resale values with his eye for a player and powers of persuasion. I'm very happy with how we are shaping up, we don't need a 45k a week dud manager.
