Any update on the chance of Greg Stewart coming? Hope Gers play this one patiently, the lad is a bluenose and a really hot prospect, our midfield seems sorted so we should sign him in Jan on pre-contract! Need to think about our finances and the future as someone else posted we did move on at least 8 younger players.

there is not even anything linking us with greg stewart. we need better quality than him no dis-respect to the lad. it is okay to say about think about the future and the finances but we need to be back in the champions league or at least back in europe and players like greg stewart quite simply are not going to get us there. i would love to see vladamir weiss back and sonny aluko. also would like to see dave king give the manager at least 2 million to spend on a striker but that is not going to happen by the looks of it. so looks like we are going to be stuck with the attack we had from last season.

Lets be honest here guys, we don't need greg stewart, we've got more than enough in the attacking midfield position, a centre half and a striker and that's it as far as I'm concerned, happy days!

He is a striker but i agree with james reilly he's not good enough although i disagree we'll have the same strikeforce as the magic hat has said publicly that we're looking for a striker.

Have been told that the Lafferty story is gathering pace inside the club. Source works for the club and is NOT a Lafferty fan at all. Nor is he a scandal monger.

Greg Stewart would be a great addition. He is a quality striker. If you go watch his goals on YouTube you will see what a great player he is. In our team he would have more chances and definitely score more. But I still would rather Lafferty.

Guys I thought you knew your football! Greg stewart most definitely is not an out and out striker, he's a 2nd striker if you like or in the no.10 position or even out wide.

Greg stewert is not a number 9 style striker, he often plays wide or as number 10. Also he is not a bluenose, i played with himt cowden and know he is an aberdeen supporter (not that i think what cluib these players support makes the slightest bit of a diffence) .
Greg stewert would be a very dceent signing! class player.
