Is this dodoo guy really the mystery striker that MW has been hiding from us? Ok I'll be the first to admit I have never heard of him but if he signs then I'll give him my full support but I was just expecting something a little bit more exciting.

Surely we will be on the lookout for a out and out striker because dodoo is more of a winger.

Thierry Henry was just a winger going nowhere till he got pushed through the middle at Arsenal.

You never know?

Onward and upward.

Dodoo is an exciting young talent and would not turn my nose up at him. he's exactly what the hat likes a fluent technically gifted versatile footballer who potentially could be a diamond in the rough and if we do sign him could be sold on for a profit down the line. capped at england youth level like rossiter and was on the fringes like rossiter but people not slamming that signing and dodoo was playing for the champions.

I work in Leicester and amongst a lot of LCFC season ticket holders. They say Dodoo is a fantastic young player and can play across the front line and has an eye for goal. MW and FMP know the youth market and I think may have captured us some great youngsters that will fit in straight away ie: Rossister and potentially Dodoo.

The striker we're all wanting could already be at the club. Ryan hardie.

doesn ranieri not want5 him to go to the championship though I think this may be a loan deal.

Think hardie should go out on loan agin.

Delboy I agree mate would rather see Hardie get a chance than Dodoo if it's a loan. If it's permanent though I'd be delighted the boy looks a star in the making. Still think the best thing for Hardie if we do bring in other strikers would be to go to a SPFL team and see how he does at this level. I'm sure he'll score anyway, seems to have done it at every other level he's been faced with.

Perhaps Hardie isn't up to it, from what I've been told ( some inside info ) last season the feeling was that the youth is not up to scratch and no-one is really in with a shout of the first team, only when the squad was thin were they on the bench, otherwise not the standard required is the feeling. This may have included Hardie.

Look at McKay though, he wasn't even the pick of the bunch. A blind man on horse back could see that Hardie is going to be a player. If we let him leave mark my words he will be the next Ross Mcmormack, worth millions.

I agree with Delboy9. If Hardie puts on a little muscle, I reckon he could be one of the most promising strikers to come through our system in the past 10 years.

Completely agree recbob- i'd have him on a 10 year contract but would love to see him go on loan to a premier league side like Inverness or St Johnstone for experience. Wouldn't want him playing at a lower level than that.

Dodoo would be great if we can get him we badly need another striker, hardie looks like a good prospect but seems to be better on the break rather than the intricate game we play, was very poor against charlston, I know it was first game but was completely anonymous compared to everyone else in the team, same as when he had a couple of sub appearances last year. jury's out but think another short loan would be good for the lad.
