seriously phillipe mexes who next wurzel gummage. i think we will sign senderos and the garner deal will be finalised and that will be it for this transfer window. i still believe if we sign senderos we will still need another centre back unless we are going to turn crooks into a centre back. i don't want this to happen as i do not believe players should be moved from their natural positons. look what happened when gio left he was clearly an attacking midfielder and people changed him to a left back. baffling how some coaches minds work these days.

wee-ecky i am not disputing that but why convert an attacking midfielder into a left back that is my point he was good going forward as a left back i admit that but teams used to play on the fact he was no good going back the way. gio for me was one of our greatest ever players but i did not like the fact he was moved to left back. that's just my opinion others may agree or dis-agree and i am sure ed would not agree with me either but that's what this site is for :)

gannet a winger is playing in an attacking role so therefor could well play anywhere across the front line. this is gio who was an attacking midfielder who was moved to a defensive position. i have done all my football badges so i know that to ask an attacking midfielder to go and play left back is not the best route to take and watching games it was clear that gio was not a left back. again this is my opinion so agree or disagree it won't change my opinion which i am entitled to. wish i had not even posted if it was going to start this. anyway looking forward to tomorrows game heres hoping we can convert our chances this time and it won't be so nervy as the second half of the dundee game was.

Id say Lescott a classier player than Senderos but tends to down tools in heat of battle. Senderos puts body on line every game. its exactly what we need.

Blueshaun, DW and RK are decent at corners. Do you expect them to mark an entire opposing team at corners? Goals from corners have been other outfield losing their markers and/ or Wes not being commanding. The most recent at Dundee was Barton. Fair play he held his hands up to it but he must do better. Get off the DW and RK bandwagon please.
