I can confirm that they made an enquiry to rangers about his availability although I don't know any outcome of this. No point in trying to prove my sources, take it as you will.

unless they offer 10 million for him they can wait until he is fully developed and then pay in excess of that I think the boy will make us millions when he leaves.

10 Million, what planet you on? I'd take 1 million. Has been one of our poorest performers this year.

as he stands right now he isn't gonny go for 10 million c-bear but I think he is every bit as good if not better than mcgreedy that played for that lot and when u think of the money they are getting for their top players then I dontg think we should be letting go our best young and most promising talent for 1 million so naw you get a grip[ pal

he went through a bad patch got dropped and has came back full of confidence but 1 million are u crazy he will be worth ten times that at least in two seasons time.

start keeping up to date with performances pal.

The boy will never be a £10m player. £2m to £3m of anybody's money and he'd be sold in a heartbeat.

5 6 million is a fair value for mckay currently and if offerd this sort of money we should seriously consider it.

Let's not get the Seville calculator out when putting a price on players. Leave that to The Dark Side. I personally don't think we would turn down a couple of million if that offer came in given the current climate. Difference is if he was being sold from one English club to another then you would be talking a lot lot more.

Only a matter of time before he gets looked at from teams down south, kid has bags of potential would be a shame for him to leave and go to waste down There.

C-bear85,yes barrie mckay has lost form at the start of this season mate. Doesn't make him a bad player! He's still very young, and inconsistent which happens to most, especially young players! He's got all the talent in the world if he just believes in himself much more! There's a good old saying, "FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT"! That certainly imho applies to barrie mckay! I totally agree with james stirling, although he's not worth 10million quid the now, we must keep hold of a talent like his, because 3 or 4 years down the road he will be sold for a big transfer fee, probably to an english premiership club! The only one that will stop mckay reaching the top in football, is barrie mckay himself (ie. confidence and consistency)! So there's NO way i'd be selling mckay at all, and most definitely not for 1million quid like you said! For god's sake, apart from kranjcar, he's by far the most technical player we've got at rangers, EASY!

Here, here james stirling, right behind you with this one mate! You're spot on, young barrie mckay will go eventually, for a helluva lot more than a messily 1million quid! He's got all the talent in the world! So yes, get a grip, c-bear85!

McKay is never a 10million pound player although I would say he's not fully developed as he is still young be realistic people anybody comes in with a couple of million and he will be sold.
