The Berahino rumours started from an article from HTC or talking baws accessed from Rangers news now.

The article was based on a case why Rangers should sign him purely due to the fact he has six months left on current contract.

It doesn't state Rangers interest or the chance in getting a player once targeted for 20M plus.

This guy is off to China? And has the pick of English football.

He's currently on 60K a week .

He's not coming.

I'm not saying he is coming but he's on 20k per week at West Brom and not wanting to stay there at all. As much as it's highly unprobable; it is still possible.

I agree with the first part. But he isn't on 60k a week, and doesn't have his choice of English football, the clubs linked last year aren't coming back in this year.

Not many PL clubs will be willing to gamble with him atm, especially with the money they'd have to pay in development fees. IF, and it's a big IF, we were to land him it would be similar to Celtics deal with Dembele. We'd give Berahino a stage to rekindle his career, he'd sign for 500k development fees and we'd offer him a % of the fee we receive for him when he inevitably moves back down south. It's surely a win win for both parties.

Well if you go on recent news, he isn't even on 20k a week, it's actually less than that. he was recently offered another deal by West brom, believed to be 20k a week, an improvement from what he is currently on. we could easily afford him, it's up to him if he wants to come.

Gnw12 what's that got to do with anything? We know we have no money to spend on big transfer fees. We do however have money for wages. Berahino is a possible transfer.
