Going by the reports in this morning's DR, that dave king and some directors have lost faith with mark warburton, then these strong rumours about frank de boer becoming our new manager in the summer, are now very believeable! Especially if there's investment of any sort coming into the club. King has supposed to have been very firm and critical of warbs and his signings, at the board meeting last wednesday.

He seemingly told warburton that unless he shifts a centre half out the door, then he can forget about signing reece oxford, on loan, from west ham! Reading between the lines i think king and the directors have run out of patience with warburton. I rate and like warbs and i don't think for one second that king is blameless! He doesn't come out of this one, smelling of roses, that's for sure! Up until now, i don't think he's backed our manager enough!

Dave king has some cheek. He hasn't backed the manager enough. It's pretty obvious there's a split in the boardroom. As for de boer why would he waste his time coming to us when the board and king havnt a penny to spend. Only for mw contacts down south we wouldn't have any new players.

King couldn't even be bothered staying and watching Saturdays match. He was probably scared in case someone asked him where the 30 million is.

Q. What do The Daily Record and Keith Jackson have in common?
A. Gladys Knight

Considering the cash MW has had available I think he has bought quite well - few bad eggs aside which could not be foreseen. However where I feel MW goes wrong is his blinkered approach to certain players that are either clearly not up to standard, playing poorly or being played out of position.

His methodology about playing the game is fine if he only had a plan b and c in the bag when required.

Unfortunately unless an oil tycoon or some very wealthy backer with money to burn comes in we are stuck with this penny pinching approach until Ashley is out of our club for good.

Is that the same super Keith Jackson who told the world Craig Whyte was a billionaire with money off the radar? I wonder who the grass is on the board that gives out this information to Keith Jackson.

Wouldn't trust MW with a decent war chest, wasted what little money he has had to date.

Even the great alex ferguson had nightmares in the transfer market. The vast majority of his signings have done a job for us.

I cannot imagine any Rangers fan would be so gullible as to place any credence whatsoever on the lies and ramblings that the arch-Rangers hater Keech Jackson has published in the Daily Rhebel. It's all absolute nonsense!

Bluenose and hooly, who out of his signings would you say has been a big success? Halliday woeful Holt not good enough senderos enough said ohslloran hasn't done it rossiter injured crooks didn't get a chance Barton blew up garner nearly 2 mill can't score kranjkar injured etc etc. I'd probably say the goalie and Clint hill are the only 2 that have worked out so however u put it his record with transfers has been horrible.

You cannot blame the manager for the fact that young Rossiter and Krancjar are injured, or indeed for the fact that both Crooks and Windass were also out injured.

Halliday and Holt were bought to secure the Championship who h we did and I am sure that the intention was that two of the above would have replaced them. Barton didn't work out, but was he a Warburton signing or was this King making a 'marque signing' on the cheap.

It is too early to say whether Garner will be a success or a failure, only time will tell.

If serious money had been available for transfers and the players brought in had bombed then I would be more critical of Warburton but he has been given washers.

The one member of the management team that I am critical off is Weir, I would have expected our defence to be significantly better than they are under his guidance

Don't matter what he is seeker, he is a terrible journalist and just puts things up to sell papers, there shall be no new manager unless there is major investment or warburton gets another offer like Watford?

Supercooper I was told about the De Boer link a few months ago and posted it on here (can't remember exactly when) seems there is a bit of substance to this. If we are to progress I believe we need a manager with the standing of De Boer to do so. In terms of signing players, contacts within the game at the elite level and the "it" factor De Boer ticks all the boxes. The board not investing much this transfer window would have a cynical man thinking it's because Warburton won't be here long term.
