Hi just passing this on believe it or not girl i work with partner works at dialy record. He has said that red bull are putting together a deal that would buy out ashley they would take over the merchandise and rename ibrox to the redbull ibrox stadium in return the will fund to major signing up 2 8million per season plus after 5 year give the gers option to buy back merchandise rights suppose it will be if ashley sells as i say only passing on what I've been told.

Red bull would want a hell of a lot more than just changing the name of the stadium, especially when you look at the likes of Salzburg, New York and Leipzig. Davie Provan wrote an interesting article at the weekend explaining that Ashley wants a route into Europe with regards to his Sports Direct merchandise and advertising.

something which he will struggle to do with Newcastle but more hope with Rangers. The fact that he hasn’t sold or parted way with his shares could be to do with this so it’s wishful thinking that he will part with it fairly easily.

Surely if the daily record knew anything of this, they would have made it headline news. Why would they know about it and have a chance to sell papers, but not write about it. I call bull.
