I reckon McLeish is going to get managers job till end of season with a view to him stepping into DOF role for new season. The board want De Boer but that's not going to happen and can see it at best being McInnes. Can also see Barry Ferguson coming in some capacity also.

I have a hunch de Boer will be our next permanent manager. He is open to talks as far as interm MccLeish absoloutley. But as I've said before a few criteria would need to be net for Frank to step in so we shall wait and see.

That little rubbish Ferguson wouldn't be welcomed back by me . I won't forgive him for the LeGuen nonsense.

Bluehaun, is that the Le Guen nonsense where he left our best player on the bench and destroyed a reasonable team with his negative tactics . Ferguson was the only one who cared enough about the club and went out on a limb to challenge him whilst the rest of the sheep went along with an inept manager who was taking the club down.
I don't know wether Fergie would be a success as our coach but he would always put Rangers first. Now u go and rewrite some more of our history.

I don't know if it's all truth or not I was too young at the time to Rember all the facts but I listened to the heart and hand podcast, one of the guys on it was part of a rangers fans group that had meetings with David Murray in which he told the fans trust that Paul le guen wanted to leave rangers really early in his career and when Murray refused to let him go he started manoeuvring a way out the door by picking on key players and knew rangers wouldn't accept ferguson being treated that way

Ive heard through a reliable source that Waghorn and Forrester have asked to leave

The DOF job is quite specific and a large part from what I understand is recruitment of players, I'll tell you now Alex McLeish has absolutely no chance of being appointed DOF, NONE. There is a good but risky chance Murty is left in charge the remainder of this season, I think they may see how he goes in the next game before deciding? In regard to the new long term appointment it will need to be one that gets the fans excited the board will know they will not sell 38,000 + on a sub standard appointment

Well said Ross1990. Ferguson is Rangers through and through. Le Guen was a crank.

One my mates thinks he's ITK and say Graham Murty is getting the dundee game to see how he gets on, if we win he'll be installed as temporary coach till the end of the season if not big Eck will be installed as of Monday.

I hope Barry Ferguson never gets close to the Rangers job, the so called "Rangers Man" and club captain hung his boots up when le Guen arrived (probably because he wanted him to quit smoking and give up the junk food) and didn't learn from the experience and went onto embarass both himself and the club with his behavior on international duty which really sums up his attitude and mental capacity. Barry Ferguson - no thanks.

Forrester can go straight away as far as I am concerned. I think Waghorn has a bit more to offer, and if played in the correct position would surely knock in more goals.

Ger8: I have that hunch too.

le guen is not enough reason to fall out with a player that captained us for years and wone soo many trophies and if u didn't see his recent interview about the le guen saga then go and watch it it will clear up why he didn't like leguen and leguen put him out the team because he was trying to get out of the job

barry ferguson would be a great assistant for rangers and de boer as the manager but only if we manager to get investment for real quality players.

i don't think we need a new team i think that we need 2 or 3 cb's a cdm that's not injured hopefully young rossiter lad can come back strong as he looks brilliant.

and an out and out striker i'd love to take adam rooney from the sheep as him and hayes run that team withut them they would crumble and i think we missed a chance to take the sheep out of the running by not splashing the cash on them as we spent just as much on garner and he works like mad but can't score playing in that formation
