As its now looking that its most definitely a done deal, that our new head coach is going to be pedro caixinha, a quick mention about our DOF! Tell ross wilson where to go, as its very clear he doesn't want to come to us! Rangers shouldn't be held waiting in limbo, for any individual!

My 1st choice was tottenham's paul mitchell anyway! A wee pointer i'd like to throw out there to my fellow bears. I truly think that our new portuguese head coach caixinha, should not fall into the same trap as PLG! Unlike le guen did, caixinha should along with his own backroom team, make space for someone who can help him bed into our club and scottish football in general! That man i think should be graeme murty.

This would help him greatly, especially in the infancy of his rangers career! It was without doubt, PLG'S downfall not to have done this! What do you think fellow bears? Graeme murty clearly knows our club all the way through! He'd be a big help to pedro caixinha! It could help greatly, to going a long way for this appointment to be a stirring success!

Super post -

if Ross Wilson doesn't want us we don't want him .

Same for anyone else.

Your suggestion was exactly what Souness did - and he gave us Walter what about harnessing "Barry"?

Great post supercoop. Graeme Murty has been a credit to the club the way he handled what was a thankless task. He would be a great asset to manager.

What are the odds of Graeme Murty becoming assistant to Pedro Caixinha and Kenny Miller replacing Murty as boss of the under 20's?

I agree Thorn, definitely think king Kenny will be involved as a coach in some capacity next season

Agreed, great post. Not who our next boss will be but would love to keep Murty on in some capacity, even as assistant. I think it could only help to have someone there who as a bit of a insight into the club and league. I really like listening to Murty's press conferences as he talks well and is refreshingly honest. I also agree that PLG should have done something similar. He came in with his own ideas about the players he had, the league and the level of player required to win the league and was way of the mark. P. S Not Barry Ferguson for me. Don't think he could offer us anything, well maybe he could offer to pay back his ebt loans he got.

Nonsense, Murty has done alright under trying conditions but get him back the the u20's pronto. The guy is still learning his trade as a coach at that level never mind our first team.

SuperCooper, very harsh on the guy who wants time to think about it. After today's story then can you blame him for not being sure as no one else is sure.
You backed warburton for a full 18 month when everyone could see at end of last season he had his flaws,
you now want to back murty after 2 home wins against st Johnston and Hamiltom. I would hold my judgement till after next weekend because if rangers get a hiding then the knives shall be out for the guy. Very nice lad and speaks well but rangers managerial material I'm not so sure.

Murty has always said that he prefers the development side of the game a think he nows himself he's not ready for that stage and a think he has done well and do think he should get a crack at Celtic next wek agree

Lance Armstrong, how much time do you want to give ross wilson then mate? A month, what? He's had nearly 2 weeks already my friend and moved the goalposts 3 times within that 2 week time scale, regarding when he was to give us his answer! It looks like he doesn't want to come! Move on and get someone who wants to work for glasgow rangers! End of!
