A wee thought here guys;

If as expected ross wilson does turn rangers down, i wonder if that may change the thinking of appointing pedro caixinha as our new head coach? It was said that ross wilson had told rangers to look to appointing caixinha as head coach if he did indeed take the rangers DOF job!

If it ends up being paul mitchell as our new DOF, then he will probably want to convince our board to appoint tim sherwood as our new head coach, as he speaks very highly of sherwood! They are seemingly very close! Just a thought fellow bears?

Agree 100 % manager choice will have a lot to do with our dof appointment

I'd prefer Tim sherwood than pedro caixinha. He was the spurs manager who give harry kane his chance. I just don't understand the process we seem to be following. I think your right supercoop surely the dof should appoint the coach. Maybe i'm wrong and that's not the way things are done. But I'm pretty sure les Reed appoints the coach at Southampton.

Surely it makes more sense to appoint the DOF 1st then he gets a big say in who he would like to be our head coach, if it is true in what you're saying about Wilson wanting Pedro as coach but Wilson is going to turn us down then this could be another big mistake from our clueless board and also I think Tim sherwood would be a great appointment for us at this time

lets get one thing clear, Tim Sherwood would be a disaster in every way imaginable.

On what basis would Sherwood be a disaster in every way imaginable? he's a very well thought of individual throughout the English game and I for 1 think he would be a fantastic appointment if indeed it is Paul Mitchell for the DOF role as stated above.

The DOF needs to be the man to appoint the coach he feels comfortable working with.

Bluebaws, he's that well thought of he can't get a job in England, was sacked after six months in charge of Spurs and eight months at Villa. He's a complete incompetent.

If he is so well thought of why has he been out of work so long?
