I've got a feeling that Caixhina has told the players that from now till end of season they will be coming in on Wednesdays. I think he will have spoke to the team and explained that by doing this at this time is a brilliant statement of intent AND with the Players all of them up for it, anytime they're asked all will be saying that its the right thing to do.

I think Caixhina has done a brilliant bit of work here and I'm hoping that the main reason for it is because he totally gets the importance of getting into the Cup Final and denying Celtic the Treble!

I'm sure that the session on Wednesday will be light physically BUT the fact that he is getting the players together to go over systems, set-pieces or whatever I just think it is a master stroke even in PR! As what I've read the media have really taken to him too, with his interviews going well.

But again I'm sure he will have told players that the Club and squad must show that we are doing everything we can to give us even that extra 1% going into remainder of season. I expect that the squads days off will return to normal after a certain amount of time but if Caixhina thinks he needs to he Wilkinson revert back to 1 day off.

And if any players are stroppy about it then all they're saying is they do not want to be at the Club, will not be in the squad and makes his job slightly easier as he knows he'll need to trim wage bill to invest Ibrox players he does want to bring in.

Heard him say they would play a game on a Wednesday probably against reserves which is always a good thing keeps them sharp and gives younger boys a chance to prove themselves win win in my opinion.

I'm happy we took him on. Alex McLeish, Warbs and Ally were boring. Caixhina is bringing the passion and pride back. I'm 100% behind him. I'm putting £10 on at 5-1 tomorrow.

Its all one bringing passion and pride back on a training pitch, like any manager he will be judged on what happens on matchday.
