Already unrest in the camp the players complaining about not enough time off. And Pedro complaining about players not following his tactics on Sunday. This will go 1 of 2 ways either Pedro goes are he clears out the deadwood.

Judging the players on performance and consistency, I would keep Pedro and clear out the deadwood.

Yes, deadwood out. Sir alex wouldn't have tolerated players calling the shots, neither would walter smith.

Usual papers blowing things out of proportion ill guarantee that 95% of players etc are happy to do as told. there will be the odd one who wants to rock the boat and they'll be as previous stated 'deadwood' and on way out anyway! If I was a pro i'd be waiting to book holidays when the gaffer says I can take time off!

They players have had it too easy for too long and the attitude that it must be someone else's fault that they are crap just doesn't wash, if you want to improve the hard work is the only way to do it, if though you want to talk back and think you know better then you are out the door this ain't a democracy it's the work place and a very privileged one at that if it goes wrong everyone will call for Pedro's head so if he takes the flak then they must do what he says. If anyone that worked for me today me how to run things they would be in the house with their thoughts and Jeremy Kyle shouldn't be any different for underperforming footballers on £10 grand a week. If they played better and tried harder they wouldn't be under the cosh i'd just tell them to go now don't come in get a new club, pedro might not be happy with you but if they read the views on this site most fans don't want the majority of them there anyway and that is a reality they need to wake up to they are fighting for their rangers careers not for more says off accept it or go

Problem is we signed rubbish players. There is only so much you can get out of Martyn Waghorn and Andy Halliday, and making them work harder isn't going to make them better players. In fact, it will only annoy them to have their time off reduced. How would you feel if your boss told you Saturday was now a working day? And you weren't getting a penny extra for it? As rubbish as the team is, as poorly as they worked on Sunday, the buck stops with the manager as well.

{Ed001's Note - making them work harder is exactly how Sam Allardyce turned round Crystal Palace's season. The players were out of shape and overweight when he took over, so he spent the first month or two just getting them fitter and it is paying dividends now. Hard work is as important as anything in sport. You never progress without it.}

RR1872 if I was under pressure at work and needed my guys in on Saturdays theyd do it as their future would be at risk and that is true I run a small business with 8 guys doing blockpaving sub contracted on sites the reality is if I don't fulfil obligations then someone else gets my work and the guys who work for me would be out of jobs now I give them perks when I can and the boys know this and step up when asked that is real life. So I don't feel sorry for footballers who underperform and are over payed and if they don't want someone else doing their job next year they better get tuned in

@ed - slight difference between having an underperforming squad and one which is plain poor. But I take your point.

I'd work a Sat for 2 grand a week if you class football as a job and take 7 days holiday. It's a privelage to do that as your job. No coming home with calisuses and dirty

Any players moaning about holidays are crazy. Players came to play European football and if our first game is on X then Caixinha must get them in as early as possible to prepare.

It's going to be difficult to bed in new players, so I hope to see players getting lined up as soon as season ends.

Something doesn't stack up here. This story has come out the week after we got knocked out of the Scottish cup which ends a season a week earlier. you would have thought after the last game they would come in after the game and do their debrief leaving roughly 4 days extra extra than previous. Think there as an alternative angle on this story to try and cause a rift in the rangers can. Funny how Brenda came out with a story the day after on the same subject!

the media is all for celtic and think their team is the best thing to happen to scottish football although all the stats like attendances revenue made for every club in the spl is better off because we are back
