Little bit of gossip : I have no connections, I don't know any rangers players etc but 15 years ago I used to work with Ryan Gaulds mum. I was back home this week and I was chatting to her and said come on get him to sign fir Rangers etc. She said he would be open to a return home and would jump at the chance to sign for us. There has been NO offer made, there has been NO contact. Just passing on what she told me. I think we should approach them as he is a cracking player before he ends up with that lot.

not good enough, never done anything since leaving. Showed promise as a kid, but now i couldn't see any point in us signing him.

Eh? We've signed a Portuguese boy dalcio, who's done **** all but trying to sign a young Scottish boy who we know can play in Scottish football is a bad idea?

He's done well n loan this season, in Portuguese top flight, the club who had him on loan were gutted when he returned to Sporting. He's now managed to adapt to Football on the continent and will no doubt have improved as a result. Latest I heard was the club would listen to offers and valued him at £3m, he said he was enjoying playing abroad, would report back for Preseason see what's what and take it from there but he was enjoying life abroad.
I would be delighted to secure him on loan as £3m is a bit much IMO despite his ability.
