Hope it's him, if it is him that gets the Role I'm assuming that with his background he ll be focusing on youth and the great work Craig's done with the academy and not meddling too much in Pedro first team affairs. ANother piece in the good business model they are building at the famous Glasgow rangers!

Always thought Pedro seemed like a guy who would want to source his own Players. After reading about the man who may get the position I still think that this will be the case. Pedro does have the knowledge and the contacts to go after the Players he wants to bring in. i'm sure the new DOF will be involved in first team recruitment at some level.

In my opinion the new DOF with his background will be focusing on building up our Youth Teams and I think we have landed a top man to do exactly this. He will have knowledge of all the up and coming youth Players from Europe and probably beyond, and it is this that I think he will be asked to focus on.
Other than that he will probably be the person who is involved in the negotiations of out going Players.

I personally think that the guy has an excellent pedigree and because of his previous employers we could be in line to reep huge benefits. Hopefully due to him getting this post our relationship with Man. City could thrive and result in more Transfers/ loans between the two Club's.

Wonder if the appointment of Mark Allen will increase our chances of landing young Beerman's mate at Man. City the young CH?

Fingers crossed that this goes through, its great to see the Club bringing in qualty Players but its deals like this that could have a huge impact on the future of our Club. Another good bit of business from King and the Board.
