Hearing that the Fee for Dorrans has been agreed and it is actually under the £1mil mark, close to half the £1.5mil being touted by a few papers. Few loose ends to be dealt with before it's a done deal though.

Mackay knocked back a new deal and has shown he doesn't want to play for us. We are glasgow rangers the team of Davie Cooper, Jim baxter, Willie Henderson, John greig and sandy Jardine, mackay is not anywhere near being able to be spoken in the same breath as them yet thinks he is some kind of superstar. Bin him 20/ 30 years ago he wouldn't have made a reserve side

When you consider the quality wingers that Rangers have had in the past McKay doesn't warrant a mention. Scott, Henderson, Wilson, Cooper, Tommy McLean, Neil McCann, Willie Johnston, McKay couldn't lace their boots!

Laudrup was good but no Davie Cooper he never buggered off for cash, he was a man who thought clydebank was too far from Hamilton

Hi Kazmania82, I was just referring to the Scottish players but if you widen the scope then Laudrup would most certainly be up there as I suspect would others. I just don't rate McKay unfortunately. I think he has ability but he clearly has an attitude problem, he doesn't appear to like hard work, he is lazy, he doesn't't like taking a tackle or making a tackle and he doesn't track back. Seems perfect for Warburton and his pretty football with no end result. It is unfortunate because with the right coach and the right commitment I reckon McKay could progress but he seems to have made his mind up that he wants to leave. I guess we are too big a club for him!

That is like saying, Wallace shouldn't be captain because he isn't as good as Robertson or Numan.

JFC, I wasn't talking about worth in cash terms, I was talking about quality and he just doesn't compare to any of those mentioned. Incidentally, neither does Wallace when you compare his to previous captains. He is not and never will be a leader, he isn't even a very good fullback!
