£1.3m looks like good value to me, and I'm sure most of that will be offset by the McKay deal, as there's no way he's moving to Forrest for less than £750k plus sell on clause.

mackay fee is been quoted as low as 500k total joke letting the lad go for anything below 1 mill i hope they have inserted a 30 40 percent sell on percentage if he is sold for 500k

I would have taken a tenner for McKay! Seems fairly obvious he downed tools when the snake left, Pedro sussed it straight away, hence why he was banished to the Under 20's. Wouldn't be surprised if him or his agent had been setting this up for months.

Top talent, no desire. Was evident in the scrappy games last year where he couldn't kick his own arse. The true definition of a "Luxury player" IMO. When things are going well around him, he's a world beater. the rest of the time he is worse than average! Our very own James Forrest!

Pedro wants men in the team, players that can get stuck in when things are not going well. Barrie is not that player. If somebody offered me 10 grand a week I would run through brick walls for them. He was really inconsistent and questionable attitude. Despite all this I would bet the figure we are getting for him will be nearer the 1.5m than the 500k quoted.

I wanted McInnrs to get the job, he was by far the best candidate. Nobody else on here agreed with me. This guy doesn't understand our game. He is a computer manager with all his sheets of information, there is no passion and playing Kenny Miller out wide when he is the only guy who can score a goal tells you everything that you need to know.

TheSeeker, i agree with what you're saying but about McInnes. you're dead wrong. Aye, the beggers beat them but he just finished 9 points ahead of us with a fraction of the budget. He was the clear choice. Imagine what he could do with 50,000 fans each home game, 10million we gave Pedro and cherry pick Aberdeens best. Plus he's one of our own! No matter what you say, that matters.

Sorry but you can't turn a crap team into world beaters over night and we still have too many of Warburton's failures in the team. Two full backs that can defend, a captain that can't lead by example, that lacks passion and the ability to take the game by the scruff of the neck and make a difference, still playing Windass!, hoping that Rossiter and Krancjar can become magicians overnight after a season out injured, the players need time to gel, we need two new fullbacks and a proper captain!
