Seen rangers are supposed to be in for a kid called Declan John from cardiff, can play full / wing back, 22 years old and from Cardiff.

Would be a loan deal. the s*n reported it.

One of the few rumours I have first hand knowledge on. he a decent left back who has been in the fringes and of the first team for a while. People say would do him good to get a fresh start. Cardiff fans think his contracts up at the end of the season and reckon we ll pick him up for a development fee upon expiry if we loan him.

Wasn't this lad seriously competing with Ben Davies for the LB position for Wales a few years back?

Last time I checked Davies was playing a part in one of the best teams in England.

Looks like a good bit of business if we are indeed getting declan john on loan he has played for Wales a few times.

He did not really come on the way he should have but, as said, might need another pop with a new team. definitely worth a punt.
He is a very attack minded wing back though so those that don't like they way our defenders play will still not like him either.

He's got a few Wales caps, played in most of there ages groups and has some championship and premier league experience. Getting the lad on loan with his contract ending at end of season is surely a win win.
We need another left sided player that can play LB or LM. Don't think we should b paying hearts the 1M so this gives us cover
