So Dave King might be forced to offer 20p per share when the shares could be sold today for 32p. What a waste of time and money as no one in their right mind will accept the 20p offer.

NOt sure how we can deduce a market value of the shares if the shares as we are currently not on an exchange. now ashley gone get the share issue underwritten by some big investors and the fans group then happy days!

I think that you'll find that the shares are traded on a matched bargain basis and that any sales today were or would have been at 32p

He can't afford to offer it because he has no money, its all in his wifes name. Plus its not real money he has its in trust funds. don't know what this means but it don't look good.

Yawn yawn all doom and gloom again fod!

Fod!
No-one with a cash and a brain has it sitting in a current account.
Having it invested if trusts or funds means it's working to make you more instead of the abysmal interest rates offered at present.
If I had the cash I'd be invested in Gilt, Bonds, Funds and the like.
All he would have to do is sell some of the holdings in any of these to realise cash. You can be invested in these without having REAL MONEY.
How can you suggest something doesn't look good if you ADMITTEDLY have no idea what you are talking about?

DK talked a lot of money to get what he wanted, and succeeded. How much of his own money has he actually parted with to help the club?
Stated he had £30 million then the rhetoric changed to we need £30 million.
He is on record as being called a glib and shameless liar in a court of law and I don't see him challenging that.
I never agreed with him taking over and everything which has happened since has supported my feelings.
Fed up seeing the senior people at the club from CEO to Manager continually make it look like a joke.

Fodtheprod can you explain why you don't think it looks good? So he has his money in a trust fund to benefit his family does it not make sense it's all about your money working for you while you relax as for the share offer he may have to make an offer of 20p all shares he doesn't already control now shares are sitting at 32p so who in their right mind will accept that I have shares and will never sell no matter what I'm offered so this is just how business works in this case for me it's crazy as no one or very few if any will accept the offer but it costs money to make the offer which is a waste anyway why don't you at least once try and post something positive I can see you sitting in a darkened room keyboard at the ready hoping we drop points tonight get behind the manager and the team we are only eight games into a new season judge at the end of the season

I'm confused. Is King still going to spend £30 on us to stop ten in a row as he promised?

I don’t know naz why don’t you ask him?

Use talk like he hasn’t invested any money in the squad and club he spent close to 10 m this summer alone on players what has he spent on previous transfer windows and even with free transfers u still have to pay signing fee lawyers agents etc King has us in a better place than we were with Ashley, we r bringing more revenue into the club with new reatail contract don’t get me wrong it would be great to have a tycoon with billions enabling us to sign Ronaldo but until then let’s not knock King because of the media

blue: "All he would have to do is sell some of the holdings in any of these to realise cash. "
King's counsel paints a different picture.
"Lord Davidson of Glen Clova QC, counsel for Mr King. asked the court not to make an order, since any order would be futile as Mr King did not personally have access to the £11m-£12m required to underwrite the offer, as his assets were tied up in a family trust. "

its all a game guys, why have him offer 20p when noone will sell. the people holding shares won't sell. for him to even make such an offer will cost 1.5m so why waste that on a futile cause. woul u want to throw away 1.5m. for those who dontvwant him, would you still want previous board come on guys wake up

He has money Fod, I'm not saying he's going to pile anything into the club but he could spend £11m tomorrow if he had to, to acquire these shares, the point is that it is pointless wasting money on an offer which by in large will be rejected due to the poor value on offer per share.

I don't know what the future holds for King but I do believe he fronted up when we needed him most and saved our club from the parasites that had infected it, and for that I will always be thankful to him. There are not many businessmen about that have outmanoeuvred Mike Ashley (who had the board at the time by the baws) quite as impressively!

I also believe that Dave King would willingly step aside or take a back seat willingly if someone came into the picture investment wise that could make a difference whilst safeguarding our future!

my god if fod isn't moaning at pedro he is having a pop at king even though he admits to knowing nothing a statement that confirmed what the rst of us thought anyways.

since king has come in he has stabalised the club as much as he can and has just got rid of the cancer that is the fat rat give the man time to make the rest of his promises come good.

as far as i can tell he has our best intrests at heart.

all the haters don't have anyone else in mind that has the money and is willing to spend it on us so why don't u lot shut up and support the great job the board are doing.

if we spent 30 mill on p-layers in one season some would be happy but a lot would think isn't this why we went up shits creek before?

15.) 14 Oct 2017
14 Oct 2017 00:57:06
so to all the king haters out there who is better equipped to take us forward and would they be interested in spending their money on us?

naw i didn't think u lot had an answer!

@Naz: that's about right £30, because that's as much as he has in his pockets and that's as the Gers are going to get

It's simple guys, business laws state as he worked with the 3 bears to buy more than 30% of the shares and there's proof they did act together, then he must make an offer under the rules but he's ignored the rules . So now he's at court, again, for doing what he likes without caring for proper business procedures. This will hurt Rangers a lot more than most of you are believing . It's not just "doom and gloom " as one ostrich stated .
