With all this hype about villa scouts watching fredo do we think he might go come January? I hope not to be fair I think he needs at least a full season here, I don't see where else striker wise our goals will come from, and it's not just his goals we'll miss but his overall play holding the ball up etc, what do we think?

Good news if other teams want our players. People will be shiting themselves in case he leaves but if he does then it'll be for a fee we're happy with.

Well it will be for no less than 5mil in my book. That boy is a goal scorer and has plenty of fight in him. He is still only what 20? So plenty of years ahead of him where he will only get better.

I’m sure he will not see the championship as a better option than rangers at the moment. He could get lost in that league and drop off the radar. It’s a tough league to shine in.

Hope he’s not got a low buy out clause either.

I’m still not convinced fully with him. He runs around a lot and puts in a shift but has missed a few sitters and good chances in the last few games. He’s a bit young to be relied on over a Full season I think.

What you on about kerrymac? We are simply responding to rumours that villa want to sign morelos in january. We did not make this up nor did we decide to sell him. I think you need to get a grip and pipe down, there's a good lad.

Got to agree with Coldo.
A: No-one is saying we should TRY and punt him.
If he carries on scoring he will be subject to bids. That's just a fact.
Also as much as we should look to hold onto players we are no longer in the position to hold off on the big bids.
If we do sell I just hope we replicate Celtic's policy of putting in Sell on clauses.

He won't be sold yet, the boy has been here a few month. Aston villa or rangers come on I don't think we will lose our decent players to a championship outfit. When he scores against them he is immediately worth 50 million dembele dollars.

Say we do get offerd money for morelos in jan then i do think the board would consider bids of 3 million and upwards as they would propbally see this as a good return on 1 million investment
we are a selling club from now on so if bids come in good enough we will end up selling keeping a hold of them is not a option

Exactly bluegenius, not one person said we should/ want to sell him but if our best players play well then they will be picked off by clubs that are in no way bigger than us but have a hell of lot more financial power than us, that's just the reality. We must make sure we get value in any deal and yes a sell on clause as this has worked very well for celtic. How people can interpret this as not supporting the team is absolutely mind boggling 🤤. Must be a lack of the basic grasp of the english language.

I just think a full season at least then we'll see how his return is goals per game then we decide what the future holds, if we are a selling club now I'd hate to see our players go straight away for poor money then watch him go on to become a proper star

He is far to important a player to be considered for a Jan exit.

Plus he needs more time to adapt to the physical side of the game along with judging runs. Better defenses down south would have him offside 10times a game. Little things for him to work on and he will be a real star.

Oh yeah I don't think he will go in January.
This is merely speculative talk by the press just now. They say this about 1 hundred different players and then when one finally goes through its the old "you heard it here first" forgetting conveniently all the ones that were bullcrap.
However if he scores continually until January and some Prem club struggling for goals comes calling in Jan with a 3-4 mill offer then it may happen. Stick on a 15% sell on if you can and if he makes it big you make more when that club goes down or he justs moves to bigger.

Villa scouting Morelos mmm would love to see rangers hang on to him for a year or two yet but I guess if the money is right he will go, personally can't see why villa want him as they have 4 forwards already and young hogan who isn't in the team at the moment is very similar to young Morelos and is a natural goalscorer.
