Mcinnis to Rangers, then Aberdeen will go for jack Ross, I think jack Ross actually might be better manager, can't see us taking such a risk though. This comes from a friend who is currently a manager in the English championship.

How would a manager in the English Championship know what Rangers and Aberdeen are planning for their next manager? It will take a lot for us to get McInnis from Aberdeen I reckon, they won't let him go easily

Why do people get so offended by rumours? What is a suitable source for a rumour?

I really hope it’s only a rumour and no more wouldn’t want any of them, Mcinnes couldn’t win the league when up against delia and they were terrible! he comes second in a league when it’s arguably at its lowest ever period, on top of rangers, hearts, Hibs and Dundee Utd all out of it at various stages during his run. he has never achieved anything of note each year in Europe! and although there was financial trouble at Bristol he was a failure. all he has done is secure Aberdeen 2nd place in a really poor league if that’s the bar for a rangers manager in 2017 then we really have sunk. I get people will respond saying it's about building getting second then build on that but realistically or not we don’t have time to build to 2nd then try to come top we need someone now that’s going to forge this team together and buy smart in jan and challenge from the Get go in my humble opinion lol 😂

Ian McColl suggested the Ross Jack part of this on Sportsound last night.

If we did go in for McInnes and if he accepted it would make perfect sense to me. In fact when Caxinha was still in charge he was one of the names I mentioned that I would prefer to see as Rangers manager albeit that could been seen as faint praise.

Oh and Kenny McIntyre suggested that it would take far less than the £1.5 million being bandied around to bring McInnes to Ibrox.

Know a journalist who says the job is mcinnes’s if he wants it

Good post jimbobgers. I agree with every point you have made. What is so special about McInnes? He really is a specialist in failure imo
