Scenario 1: We appoint McInnes before double header with Aberdeen he loses both games or doesn't do well and puts himself under immediate pressure.

Scenario 2: We appoint someone else before Aberdeen double header and they lose both games putting themselves under immediate pressure and causing people to shout we should have gone for McInnes.

Granted both of these scenarios are on the basis we don't win both games in the double header but this is the risk for the board and the reason I believe no decision will be announced until after these games.

That’s an excellent couple of points and very plausible. On the other hand win both games and the manager will be hailed a hero

An excellent couple of points? Really? Oh aye the board are thinking . let’s not appoint the new manager until after the 2 Aberdeen games just incase the new manager loses them both and everyone wants him immediately sacked . Pure mince

Surely McInnes would be the best person to know how to beat his own team?

scenario 3- we don't get anyone in, lose both and the fans go daft for the board taking too long 😂😂

Or maybe the board are just doing the sensible thing and trying to get the best quality possible for a manager and whenever it happens, it happens.

Scenario 4 - Rangers beat Aberdeen home and away with Murty still in charge and Derek McInnes is no longer considered for the vacancy.
