I myself don't have the luxury of all these claimed sources and contacts that half the people on here do, however, a mcinness appointment to me would be surprising.
The guy has came out and put cold water on it himself, him and Stewart Milne have been very vocal. I just can't see them leaving themselves open to that sort of stuff if they weren't sure.
I'm not sure who'll be the next gaffer, i'd be happy with murty as he holds passion and he's getting better.

Happy with Murty don’t be stupid I've not got a bad word to say about him but he has no experience at this level and there is so much more to just managing the team he has been hung out to dry a bit here I don’t know who but he needs to have experience

correct me if i'm wrong sources mate but i don't think DMc has ever came out and said he wasnt interested? the furthest he has went is to say he won't be discussing speculation and its all paper talk. Position he was in is if he says publicly he wants the move then if it doesn't come off he is left looking a right lemon, with a whole team of fans up there that will want to lynch him!

U r right Snell. Some of the numptys on here think he should come out and say he wants the job. . really! I don't know if they have approached him because I haven't asked him but I do know that he won't knock it back. no chance!

Listening to all your points. Stewart Milne publicly stated dm was going nowhere. Then, dm comes out and PUBLICLY reiterates what Milne says. What I'm saying is it's not a definite that it is dm we are going for.
For one both dm and milnes integretrity and indeed, credibility would be questioned after those public statements.
Is that not a fair point? Or am I missing something?
