TBH I thought that DM would jump at the chance to come to us, no matter how long the board took to offer him the deal, but I was wrong, for whatever reason he decided to stay at the sheep. Murty has done well but I don't think he is just ready for first team.

I can't see them going for another manager who is under contract at a club cause if he refused to join, alarm bells would be seriously ringing, so can only see them picking someone out of work. An O'Neil or a McLeish or the likes. I could see McLeish or Murty taking over with a deal to the end of the season then if certain expectations are met and new deal could be sorted, but O'Neil would need a strong contract offered.

I do think we are all in the dark, no matter how many people say they know someone that knows something.
I seen paul murray at glasgow airport on thursday morning sitting outside the celtic shop at 08:00am (which I actually did) . But chinese whispers from that and someone will say we are trying to get BR to manage us.

This is gona be a sit back and see who actualy comes through the door and fingers crossed he hits the ground running, there are still trophies to be won.

To be fair as no one seems to know who a realistic target is they might be able to keep it quiet. I would love De Boer but would he take it and would he take it knowing he was second choice to DM
