Docherty has now officially signed on a 4 and a half year contract, for undisclosed fee, but I can tell you its £680,000 with a really high sell on fee of 25% Which i personally would never had agreed on if i was Rangers, surely we could of or must of tried to get that sell on fee down to 10% or 20% Max

The sell on fee is irrelevant. We've got a promising youngster signed on a 4 year deal for a snip at just under 700k. If clubs want him in the future if he performs well then we'll make money and Hamilton will get a cut, we certainly won't lose on that nominal outlay.

What I don't get is the rumoured fee. We offered £300K, they wanted £600K, and we paid £650 - £700k.

We were giving stick for going in too low, and end up paying (if true) more than they originally wanted - with a sell-on fee as well. It doesn't look good.
