07 May 2018 13:01:20
Just a share issue. Nothing to get excited over. In fact more likely to get depressed over it

8.) 07 May 2018
07 May 2018 13:04:09
6 million raised through share issue no external investment. As per all those with sources talking about 20-50 million investment was absolute NONSENSE

07 May 2018 13:34:42

07 May 2018 13:41:33
It's already happened, king says there's 6 million to be raised via the share issue, and also says at the minute there's no new investors so all this about Murray and overseas investment to jim McColl was all just pie in the sky.

20.) 07 May 2018
07 May 2018 13:57:00
So basically Dave king is Going to raise a £6m share issue cause he’s no money and yet again asking us mugs to fork out!
Disappointed is an understatement😬

Why have a press conference when there’s nothing to announce?, to let everyone know that there’s no outside investment, not in discussions with anyone, the board will be funding the transfers (don’t know for how much or for how many), no mention of the board members that have stepped down or who could be replacing them and why, nothing. It just doesn’t add up, are we sure this was the press conference and not a discussion with King and a journalist at the urinal before the meetings because someone is extracting it.

Rest my case lads about all yous who were shouting 50 and 60 million coming in and signing ya ya toure rooney and torres. Time for some of you to take your head out of the clouds and be realistic about where we are as a club. Loans and low budget players again let's just hope Gerrard can rustle up a few gems

From press conference.

"Rangers had received £17.7m in loans from shareholders and other investors and borrowed a £3m from Close Brothers. King says loans will be converted to equity after successful share issue.

"There will be a balance between the conversion of loans versus raising of new cash, " he explained.

"At this stage there is nothing external other than existing shareholders and investors. We are not talking to anyone new, who is not there already. "

Gerrard has not been given a figure of how much he will have to spend.

"We will continue to invest in the squad and we will be a net investor. We will provide additional net funds. We don't put figures on that because we can't. "

"It depends on how many players Steven wants to keep. We haven't even discussed it. Right now we don't have a player plan. "

None of this is good news. the reported £6 million will be sliced to offset loans already spent. I was ready to dig out the cash for my season ticket, but its just the same old show.

King, you're a sand dancer.
