I've seen things on Twitter suggesting it's a €4.5m bid, about £3.93m.

I wouldn't mind spending that on a top defender like him granted he is 33 but so what 4million for a top class defender like him on a 2year deal well worth it he would help so much

Deano, I would rather we got someone younger, of same quality, with view to doubling our money. We just seem incapable of looking at the long term. Many more years of mediocrity to come I fear unless we take a different approach. Hopefully Gerrard will take us in a different direction.
