Skirtl plus cash for morelos being offered! No deal for me we need strikers as much as CB.

Have to agree with you SB the lad has a good future whereas Skirtel (great player) but he is not cheap to keep and will eat up much needed cash if his wage demands don't drop massively.

Keep wee Morelos for another year with a summer break and a pre season under his belt I think we will see a return to his early form. Added to that he has the help of Stevie G and the team he has brought in all this augurs well for the coming season.

Would love to see Skirtel playing for us but don't want to be held to ransom or sell our biggest asset to do it for someone who is padding out his pension package.

Dont think there's any mileage in the Skrtel rumour, I think we have moved on from him as we have paid big money for Katic and Goldson if he comes, they both have sell on value, therefore it doesn't make much financial sense to swap an asset with sell on value for an asset with no sell on value

A lot depends on what is on offer in terms of transfer fee and whether there is a cash alternative to the Cash + Skirtl suggestion. For example if we were offered £6m / £7m cash then I would be tempted to accept and then use the funds to buy a young English striker. I like Morelos but the question is whether his heart will be in it next season. I don't believe that Skirtl is worth what it would cost us to have him for two seasons and would much rather we signed the boy from Brighton that has a potential sell on value for us.

Still doesn't solve the problem as the transfer fee was not the issue, it was the wages.

If he's to come he better be taking a huge drop in wages, we're already paying Alves 30k a week.

Check out all the haters dying for Morelos to fail next season just to say i told you so. there isn't many players in europe scored as much goals as him past 2-3 seasons at his age. If there is any yous are mad thinking he will flop. So he missed a sitter against the stink ronaldo had about 15 shots a game to score one. Get a grip Morelos to stay!

Bad deal bad investment. don't need skrtel if goldson is coming especially if alves is staying. Morelos will come good this season with better players around him i think. If decide to sell then no swap plus cash should be agreed, just £.
