Jason Holt has joined Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan.

Hopefully he'll not return. Jason Holt is one of the hardest working players we have had in years but he's absolutely rubbish at football.
If people who ran about all game but rarely touched the ball, can't pass, dribble, shoot or tackle won you games, he'd be magic.

I hope he does great for Fleetwood, earns a transfer there and stays. Never a Rangers player. SG and co know it. Recruitment on paper this year looks great so far. Buzzing.

If Stevie G thought he wasn't rangers standard he'd have been sold or sacked. Hopefully he comes back technically better and stronger. He was a fighter in the middle and hope he does well for Joey and Clint

Tjfrc you can’t sell someone that nobody wants and you can’t sack someone for being rubbish. Loan was the only way we could get him out. SG knows it and so do I. Holt is a cracking lad and a terrible footballer.

Entitled to your opinion but even though agree he ain't RANGERS class he was still one of the few players that got pass marks last season n certainly a far better player than your claim

Living in Fleetwood and going to as many as there games as I can go to when not travelling to Ibrox I think wee Holt will do really well down here and will be a big fan favorite, not what rangers need but Fleetwood certainly do

Mcoist wasnt the best footballer and was quite poor at the start of his rangers career. Turned out to be a scoring machine. Cummings has hardly had a chance and played as a loan striker most of the time. He could be a gem. Some people far too quick to judge

Jason Holt is subject to this new 'Staunch Loyal' in our support that latches onto average players and bigs them up as better than they are, as some kind of cult hero.

His attitude was outstanding, and his work rate/ running admirable, but there's a reason he struggled for us in the SPL and could only get a loan to a League One team with Barton as manager. Well, well, well below the standard we need.
