Wee bird told me that new Rangers strip has a sash across the front of it. Guy said it will be controversial big time. Do I believe that it's true? . I think that it's about 65-70% by source.

The lad was asked about the orange 3rd strip and his reply was that it would be better to wait and see the main strip this year as it was going to be controversial before he explained why. He says dk wants a tsunami of sales and saw this as the best way. Why not post it? Guy works out of Ibrox.

I take it G unit, its our new hummel home top, that your saying, has a design of a sash on it? If its the home top your talking about, then there's NO chance of a sash design on it! I would believe it more to be the away top, or the 3rd top, if any at all!

I know it sounds crazy but it’s what I was told. If you google the River Plate strip that’s basically what he described . That’s the way that I took it and it was him that said ‘Sash’.
If you see this top then you can get the gist.

Im not into the orange king billy stuff but have always loved the river plate strip. Would love their home kit as our away strip. White top with red sash and black shorts. Awesome!

No its not just down to hummel,
regarding our kit design, Ger88!
Hummel certainly have an input but so do our design team! Its a discussion 'till they both settle on a design, that the majority agree with! What hummel definitely have the say on, is that their logo and chevrons, are applied onto the kit!
That's not up for negotiation, as that's the main reason they're giving us £10million over the 3 year deal!

I agree with Pappy, River Plate has an awesome strip, I remember we had a white strip with a red and blue stripe (sash) that was a cracker of a strip too.
I would love a blue strip with white sash and black shorts

are all branded strips not usually a variation on templates? do hummel have any tops out there with sashes on them? i don't think they do, they like to keep to plain shirts with chevrons - this is what i expect, blue with white or red and white chevs. round neck white trim.

Brands design strips and then quietly release them so to gauge a reaction and then gives them an idea in which direction to to head in as to maximize sales revenue. 70-80% of any mock design you've seen over the last 2 months will have come from Hummel, it's how marketing work. Also, anything "controversial" that certain people think is in the pipeline will also likely not happen as the brand will be well aware to stay clear of any potential backlash.
