Stevie G is warning he will sign a new striker if the current lot don't shape up. C'mon Stevie we all thought you were already looking for two strikers No point in threatening the current lot as more pressure on them will make them even worse. Do we have ANOTHER saviour in you Steve or are you just here to test out if you have management skills? .

Em no. That’s just not how it works really mate. You don’t not challenge your players in case it ‘makes them worse’.

You challenge them to see if they can step up to the plate. If they cannot, then it’s goodbye.

That’s what a manager should be doing if certain players aren’t performing.

I'm having significant doubts about him - so far he's been a lot of bluster and honestly, not much delivery. Sure, we beat Shkupi (thanks to a deflected goal and a penalty that wasn't) and defence looks a bit better (up against that lot and yet they still looked dangerous), but the overall picture is not one to inspire confidence. Anyone feeling confident is basing it on very little and even at this early stage Gerrard has done a lot more wrong than he has right. Rangers shouldn't be an academy for managers to test themselves on - we've been through this with Warburton and Murty, it feels like it's the same all over again.

We've played 2 games, won 1, drew 1 and won the tie and already the Gerrard out crowd are sharpening their pitchforks.

Sometimes I despair about our fan base, I really do.

F-U I’m with you.

2 games in and people saying he has made mistakes think people need a realty check SG has laid the foundations for a solid defence which was 100% the right place to start and he has had bad luck with injuries already.

Yes I will confess like most other fans I’m disappointed to see Greg Docherty go out on loan I was hoping he would turn him into a mainstay of the midfield but I have faith that he believes a loan move will do Doc good.

i don't half read some nonsense on here 3 games 3 clean sheets the opposition doesn't matter were positive about the defence which is the only part of the team gerrards had an effect on all the players that have been getting slated on here are the usual suspects from last season and if you think gerrard was serious about not looking to bring in another attacker then your clueless about football its clearly a mindgame statement to the likes of windass and morelos to say if yous don't buck your ideas up you will be replaced there is not a chance that this current starting 11 will be gerrards preferred 11 at the end of the transfer window

2 games in, the domestic season not started yet, transfer window still open and he’s already made a James Hunt of it! 😂😂😂 Relax i’m sure he knows a thing or 2 about football 😎.

Goes to show that we’re not immune to the numpties. Time to get a life rangers fans!

I wonder if these same fans slating SG after two games did the same in 1986 when a certain mr Souness didn’t get off to the best starts and look where he got us. Similar building process just with modern day procedures such as loans.

He needs time we need to give him it.

How can anyone who knows a thing about football be getting on his back already. Give it time Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Big Brenda lost his first competitive game to a bunch of taxi drivers in Gibraltar look what he’s managed to do.

rfcrb1872,Get a grip of yourself and face the reality that the manager has had to strip the team right back to the basics, he has already strengthened the defence i. e. no goals conceded yet, he has already been honest and says that there is loads more work to be done, for example get some players out and off the wage bill and get other players in who will enhance the team and that is what he is trying to do, what more do you want? give him a chance mate it might take months before the team are performing to how the manager and fans want them but what's the alternative? its a massive rebuilding job and most of the fans accept that, let's go forward and support this manager who is trying to take our team to the next level,

Can’t believe rfcb clicked agree 7 times to his own post. Seriously though this is the type of backing we can do without. Give the man a a chance.

Unfortunately Rfcb isn’t on his own. Within 30 mins of the home tie v Shkupi a multitude of bears in the Copland front (mostly those in their senior years who should know better) were screaming ‘it’s as bad as last year’ ‘this guy Gerard is no bettert than Murty’ blah blah blah.

Makes you despair at your own fellow ‘supporters’ 😩

Get a grip, and get right behind this team for next 2-3 seasons as we can’t keep ripping it up and starting again.

Gerrard isn’t a magician! He inherited a total mess and has had to strip everything back and build back up. This is a work in progress. He needs time and support. I’m confident he’ll get it right given time.

I don't mean to sware etc but for **** sake people questioning Stevie already! When are we going to get behind a manager and pull ourselves together? Souness didn't get off to the best of starts and it turned out just fine . Is it any wonder we r going through rubbish all time, the players don't need to hear negativity b4 the league season has even started so we can certain people please get a grip before we turn into a laughing stock again #LETSGO 55 IS ON ITS WAY.
