Someone explain to me how Tavernier is the captain of Glasgow Rangers.

Why what was the problem with him tonight, Morelos missed more chances than the one Tav missed, fact is we didn't take our chances, on another day you win that by 3 or 4, I think your just looking to make him the scapegoat for us not winning.

Agreed 100%

Don't want any players getting made a scapegoat for results not going our way but I agree wholeheartedly heartedly that he should never be captain.

He played captains part more than he ever has tonight driving the team on . ok a couple of mistakes . saw Messi gave ball away last week?

He gave the ball away with a sloppy pass in the first couple of minutes which could have led to a goal, fell on his backside for no apparent reason when they countered which could also have led to a goal, then missed an absolute sitter. Worst captain in my lifetime by a country mile. Sooner we get rid the better. I would drive him to Wigan myself if they came back in for him.

Rangers played brilliant last night against a team that blootered Celtic at the weekend. We ate them up but the answer is there for all to see. WE can't SCORE GOALS! Why does SG have Candias tracking back every time Tav goes forward? Candias is a great attacking threat on his own, so why not get solid right back, push Tav into right midfield and give Candias a chance at running at defences again. Thought we were awesome and should have won. 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

@buddyblu are u suggesting we play a RB, RMF and a right winger in the same team? This gets worse by the day no wonder we are laughed at by the other page with statements like th.

Because he's respected by the other players and the manager? I'll go with their view, over some part-time internet pundit thanks.

Everytime tav tries to take a man he loses the ball, his deliveries are shocking. Very rarely beats the first man. He's been frustrating lately, started the season on fire aswell👍.

Retains the ball well, good in tight situations and moves forward. First touch always progressive. Can pick a pass. Covers a lot of ground. Unreal stamina. Loves the club. Improves on his weaknesses. Takes responsibility. Takes the ball in when others hide. Solid captain in my opinion. Ryan Jack soon for me but happy with Tav and would realise what we had if he left.

Ready for pelters but I'd love to see tav in a box to box midfield role or even, wait for it, give him a go as our new number 10. oof.
