Stewart Robertson suggested we are bringing in 3 players in the January window. Davis clearly is one, the other two remain up to the Gaffer. Lot of people suggesting Jones. I want to see a striker and perhaps looking to defence ahead of the summer for Worrall when he leaves and depending on McAulay's position. That said, we have Katic, and Dorrans, Murphy, Docherty to return. Holt, Dodoo, Pena, Alnwick, Herrera, Wallace hopefully out. We may be able to cash in on Fods who will only play if AM Gers injured and surely won't want to be a backup. Lots of room for speculation bit how good is the position compared to the last couple of years eh? Happy new year to you all.

I think Jones and Kamara are pre contracts are they not? If so they won't join until summer.

Jordan Jones would be a quality signing. Really hope we get him. Direct with pace and young.

Would think if Kamara signs a pre-contract a minimal few would get him moved over now. Not sure about Jones though, depends how Killie view their chances of doing something this season, they might think they are better hanging on.

Yes they are pre contacts, heard that we were going to try and arrange a compensation package with Kilmarnock so Jones is available straight away, although Steve Clark has said he would rather lose him in summer for nothing than let him leave in January for cash.

I just hope jones isnâ€™t another MOH. Itâ€™s all good having pace but when teams sit in with every man behind the ball then pace doesnâ€™t matter.

HMM guys on here hate Tavernier 8 assists love Jones 4 assists as my Yorkshire gran used to say "there's none so queer as folk" no I don't know what it means either but I've been able to sing Ilkley moor since i was 3.

Love it blue Pete, in case you don't know they play different positions. Tavs job s to defend first and foremost.
However, more displays like Saturday will change opinion.

C. F Bear - why would Killie hand him over now for Â£50k? Some folk here have no clue on the economics of football. What's Â£50k to them when he could be the difference between say a cup final and a higher league position? Â£250k maybe.

My mate is the financial accountant for Killie. He says Jones is definitely staying with them until the summer. The owners have just sold QTS for close to Â£100m, they donâ€™t need the money and are happy to keep him for remainder of season and let him walk in summer.
