If gerrard has someone lined up to replace tav i would say 7 million would be a good deal. no way we can rely on flanagan so def need a good replacement.

for all tavs faults £7M is nowhere near what we should accept the other mob have been screaming £30m for tierney tav is a far better player than him i'm not saying that's what we should b looking at but 7 is nowhere near what we should b looking for he isn't captain material but i'd like to see someone give me a name of a decent replacement.

Tierney is a better defender but crossing aside Tav is better going forward.

Fact is though Tierney isn’t worth £30m and if someone offered half that he would be sold don’t let anyone kid you he wouldn’t.
