Any word on a permanent deal for Kent? Not heard much recently
I’m worried he has a blistering 2nd half of the season and we get priced out from an epl team.

Either way sir walter, we have to hope that he does have a blistering second half of the season. I hope we can get him permanently, he seems very keen to stay👍.

I’d be worried long term, but a blistering second half of the season would be ideal for our title credentials.
I guesstimate Liverpool want to see how he progresses before making a decision at the end of the season and there’s a strong chance we will get him on loan for additional 12m at worst.

Or that Iv read the reports in the media stating we will revisit the situation at the end of the season.
Or the fact we have said we want him and he is happy to be here, which means he is either signed permanently if deal can be struck, or is sent out on additional loan spell again as Liverpool are happy with his progress.
Playing great in SPFL usually means you don’t break into the very top sides in BPL just ask Patrick Roberts.
Only time BPL clubs take players performing well in our league is when they are a mid table team.
He wasn’t great on loan in Championship last season so I’d imagine Liverpool would sell or loan him back.

He isn’t and will never be good enough for Liverpool I reckon we are his level so hopefully he will stay. Sure Liverpool won’t ask too much for him.
