Now that the fallout from Wednesdays horror result has died down slightly, can I ask fellow Bears what they feel about seeking a billionaire backer that would guarantee to overturn the mankies dominance of the SPFL.

I still believe that due to our financial restraints, we need to give Stevie at least two season or even to the end of his contract if necessary to get us back to the top.

Am I right in thinking we turned down an American billionaire a few years ago because he wanted to rename Ibrox.

As far as I'm concerned I couldn't care less what the ground is called. The manks call it the asbestos dome etc., so what difference would it make to us.

It will always be the home of the great GLASGOW RANGERS regardless of the name.

We won’t get someone to put millions into the club, it’s not going to happen in Scottish football unless it’s a rangers fan who have millions spare they don’t want back.

We will match them and we will overtake them not today but with hard work and doing it the Rangers way it will come.

Yeah the American billionaire Bill Miller was favourite to buy the club in 2012 until we fans unfurled banners at ibrox saying the "yank can **** off", great move by us! And then we ended up with Charles Green. Wonder where we would be if Miller had bought us.

we lost 2-1 away to killie who are 2nd on merit

not what i wld call a horror result it was hardly 5-0 or a defeat to alloa

folk on here slating gerrard and saying defoe and davis signings are a mistake after 1game need to get a grip

the result hurts bit credit where it’s due to killie and wee bit of perspective please

We don't need billionaires to fund our club. Buy young talent like morelos. Players looking for pathway to england. Buy cheap bring them on for 2 or 3 years then sell on at big profit. Need to get rid of the 7 figure loan fees and buy a young player for that money. The worral loan makes no sense to me could have bought a tested spl defender for that money. Nothing special just good honest centre half. Money we have spent on defoe and davis loans could have got the 2 boys from hjk. I know i will get slaughtered for saying that but they looked like hungry players with decent talent and big potential.

Let's be honest It doesn't matter about a billionaire We should need millions to be beating teams like Kilmarnock!
No disrespect to Kilmarnock they've come on from Stevie Clarke's appointment, who I feel is doing better than Stevie Gerrard!
The problem was tactics were shocking!

We cannot be using the excuse of plastic pitches as every team is in the same boat in having to play Kilmarnock

Where we went wrong was we never set up to play two wingers and really go for the jugular and therefore stretch Kilmarnock, who were comfortable as a result Jordan Jones and co was always going to cause issues with that back two McAuley has no pace and Worrall reckons he is Pique at times and switches off!

Having Tav whipping crosses over and being often upfront than back caused more issues for our back two furthermore as there were no cover
No excuses these guys punished us because tactics were piss poor from Mr Gerrard on this occasion!

It seems our scouting network is lacking from our neighbours across the Rd Why go for experienced old friends in Defoe, not to forget the money He is earning, when we can got for young and hungry talent!

We are still a defender required and another striker
Why was Lafferty not playing up tops with Morelos To bring Defoe on for the last 20-25mins would've made more sense! That want happen though because we are paying good wages for him to be sitting on the bench!

I'm sure in the past we all thought we had a sugga daddy in Murray but look where that got us and before we all jump on the post those that were there during the Murray era loved the fact we spunked money out on everyone and their granny! I'm Scottish football we don't have the luxury that they have in England where the can chuck millions at players knowing the tv revenue in one season covers it!

As pa previous poster says we have to find raw players looking for a springboard to the premiership or bigger leagues where we can cash in on in a couple of seasons time!

And I ain't even going to bite at the dermot post!

No we don't want to rely on a billionaire. We want a club that sustains itself, a scouting system that identifies players of value other than wasting 2 or 3 mil on duds and a club that is able to scout, develop and bring through youth. 👍.
