Like probably most bears, i truly think glen kamara is going to be an absolute terrific signing for us! Interesting today reading former celtic player kris commons, saying how highly he rates him. Steven gerrard has said again how good kamara is and how great he'll become. All this for 50k. Has to be the best bargain for many a year? Kamara most definitely looks a class act. Love the way he plays with his head up in his midfield area, always looking for the forward pass. He
is superb at taking the ball in very tight areas with opponents around him and very rarely loses the ball. He's very strong in possession and uses his body terrifically well, to hold opposition players off. He always seems to have acres of space. He's a good one alright,
in my eyes anyway.

So far he has looked like a huge steal, very impressed with how he plays and let's hope he can maintain this standard.

Cost us at least one goal already and struggled against anyone in the top 6. Joe Worrall gets destroyed for that among fans but Kamara seems untouchable when he messes up. Was hopeless at the start v Hearts.

That pass he made to defoe for the opener at hearts is exactly the vision and quick thinking we have been lacking in midfield. definitely a steal👍.

If he kicks on further i can't see any reason he won't become a 10 million plus player. Can see him getting a lot of attention if he develops further next season. He was always going to be good. Coming through the arsenal system during wenger era every player would be comfortable with the ball at their feet.

Kamaras a talented lad no question and I hope he goes on to be a top player for us. let's not get carried away about him though.

I’d agree with most of that but he needs to work on his physique. I am told that’s the area they want him to improve. I would disagree he’s strong in possession. He’s not YET.

L17Mac agree with much of that. But can already sense, via this thread, an untouchable favourite with fans whose mistakes will be ignored. He's decent, but that's really about it. Far from blown me away and been cr*p against the better teams. PS Hearts are not a big team.

@thetinman - no he wasn't. Watch the match again from the start. Look how many times he gives the ball away or loses it. Stuff guys like you seem to ignore. His assist for Defoe was excellent, no argument, but he wasn't the best player in that match.

Its his physique that let's him down. He can't half hold onto the ball tho for a wee skinny guy. Even with two guys round him he nearly always comes out with the ball. If he did bulk up a bit he could be exceptional!

Looks like rfcrb1872 has his scapgoat lined up. Kamara for a young kid has been exceptional since signing. His quick feet and quick thinking have been a joy to watch, when teams try quick press Kamara usually gets the ball and starts of the rangers attack because he is comfortable when opisition is tight on him. He has a bright future some people just live a moan instead of encouragement.

Wee skinny kid? He's 23, he's 5ft 11in! He's 11 and a half stone! He has seven international caps! Obviously he was blowing on a bit of adrenaline when he first arrived and there's much improvement in him, but he's got a long way to go yet. Less hysterical worship please.
