I also posted Carroll months ago, I was hoping for a mark hateley type, but I have grave concerns that he is heading to towers, if he is then we need to hope his injuries carry on,

For the life of me i just can't see us taking a risk on andy carroll,
even on a free. He would be some signing for us, if he hadn't all these chronic injury problems. A fit and healthy andy carroll would absolutely destroy/ decimate defences, up here in the scottish premiership. He would be unplayable,
especially in the air. He's a very similar styled striker to big duncan ferguson, of yesteryear. He would be feared like big mark hateley was when he terrorised defences when he was in his pomp with a dominant rangers team. Oh for a mark hateley now. We can but dream bears.

If he signed and replicated his breakthrough season at Newcastle we'd be all jumping about and treating him like a god, but he's had many chances to show if he still has it and failed every time, he's just not worth the risk and if it's true about the plane, hopefully he's heading to Lego land!

And where are we getting the money to pay even half of his 80k plus a week wages? Highly doubt he'd be willing to take a massive pay cut. Davis did, but the club is in his blood. A fully fit Carroll would run riot up here but let's be fair, he hasn't been fully fit for years and unless Gerrard knows something we don't and has unbelievable selling skills then forget it.
